My name is Lilli Thompson, I am the Owner and Founder of Great North Cookie Co.

I was born in the UK and moved to Canada in 2015 and now I have two beautiful daughters!

Before moving to Canada, I owned a successful cake business called "Lilli's Cakes" for five years - at just 15 years old I was running a five-star food hygiene rated business! I'm so excited to finally re-launch my business in its own new version. I will be primarily selling gourmet soft cookies with the hopes of expansion in the near future.

 

Baking & decorating has been a passion of mine since early childhood, a fond memory of mine is baking with my Gran frequently. As I entered my teenage years, I grew a strong passion for fondant decorating. After I finished high school in the UK, I immediately started an apprenticeship in the food industry and gained my certification to be a chef! So it's fair to say I have been through it all.
