/ ORDERING POLICY

Allergies and Ingredients:

We use fresh, quality ingredients and we bake from scratch. All of our regular cookies contain gluten, butter, and eggs and are at risk of cross-contamination with many nuts in our studio. We do offer Gluten Friendly options but please remember that we are not a Gluten-Free facility. Please note, at Great North Cookie Co we try our best to use certified gluten-free products but not all are. Although the ingredients used are "gluten-free" they might be at risk for cross-contamination if the products are manufactured in a facility with other gluten products. We ask that you use your own discretion when consuming our products.

At this time we do not guarantee 100% gluten-free products and are not a certified Kosher establishment. Those with dairy and nut allergies should not consume our products. 

We package your order in beautiful bakery boxes however we suggest transferring your cookies to any Tupperware, food containers, or ziplock bags as the key to keeping any baked goods fresh is in an air-tight space! They will stay good for up to three days. We also suggest freezing whatever you do not consume within three days of receiving your order. Whenever you are ready to enjoy, simply let your cookie thaw at room temperature or pop it in the microwave!

Refunds / Credits / Cancellations:

Custom orders require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to secure the order date.

For custom orders, full payment is due 72 hours prior to pick up/delivery. If payment has not been received by this time, your order will be cancelled.

All orders under $100 require full payment upon ordering.

CANCELLATIONS must be made no later than 48 hours after placing your order to receive 50% deposit refund. No refunds will be issued on orders cancelled after 48 hours within placing your order.

Orders placed for pickup within 48hours will receive no credit or refund.

Due to the nature of our products, WE DO NOT accept returns.

Changes to order must be made 1 week in advance. Extra charges may apply.

If for some unforeseen circumstance (i.e. natural emergency, power outage, etc) out of Great North Cookie Co‘s control, we will offer a full refund.

****We reserve the right to not proceed with and cancel your order at anytime should we feel your requests or last minute changes are not reasonable to our bakers and timeline.

****Abusive and negative attitudes will not be tolerated.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR ORDER IS CORRECT UPON PICKUP/DELIVERY.

Disclaimer

Great North Cookie Co is not liable for any damages to the cookies after pick up/delivery. 

All cookies should be transported on a flat surface in your vehicle. Once at your destination, please transfer your cookies to an airtight container. All cookies are baked the same day of purchase/delivery for the ultimate freshness! With that being said, all fresh foods with quality ingredients are perishable over time but luckily we have some tips for you!

1. We package your order in beautiful bakery boxes however we suggest transferring your cookies to any Tupperware, food containers, or ziplock bags as the key to keeping any baked goods fresh is an air-tight space! They will stay good for up to three days. 

Note - If you enjoy that fresh warm cookie taste, we suggest heating them up in the microwave for 10-15 seconds for that out of the oven experience!

2. We also suggest freezing whatever you do not consume within three days of receiving your order. Whenever you are ready to enjoy, simply let your cookie thaw at room temperature or pop it in the microwave!
